Spiritual Warfare: 'God Rescues the Faithful from Evil Intentions'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, April 12, 2025

Jacob's sons became jealous of Joseph and sold him to be a slave in Egypt. But God was with him and saved him from all his troubles. The king of Egypt liked Joseph and respected him because of the wisdom God gave him. The king made him governor of Egypt and put him in charge of all the people in his palace.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I know it's not uncommon to be betrayed by those closest to us, but it's still very painful. I know You see what has been done to me. I know You know my pain and can empathize because You lived a life in the flesh where You experienced it. Help me to find hope in the promise that You will deliver me in Your good time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
