But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I am so honored to be part of Your Kingdom, Your family, Your army. Help me to feel the weight of this honor as I walk and talk and live each day. Lead me to the battles I need to fight for You, and away from the conflicts that win no territory for Your domain. Grant me peace through Your strength, confidence in Your ability to bring me victory, and hope in a better tomorrow because of the difficulties I face today. Help me to live in light of eternity and act in light of my position as a part of Your Royal family. Use me each day to Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
