Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for all the times I’ve failed to dress in preparation for the war against Satan and his forces. Remind me that the armor is vital to my survival and my ability to continue fighting in this daily war for truth and righteousness. Help me to remember that the enemy is powerful and organized, and having Your armor on is the only way I can continue. Give me clarity and purpose as I strap on Your armor and go to war for the Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
