Spiritual Warfare: 'A Spoken Rebuke Is a Weapon Against Evil'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, February 6, 2025

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the Lord said to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?"
— Zechariah 3:1-2 NKJV

Today's Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for being High Priest for the New Testament church. And thank You for standing in the gap and being our mediator to the Almighty God. Please grant me the boldness and strength and willpower to rebuke Satan in my life. His attacks never cease, and I need Your strength and help to deter his constant attacks. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
