Spiritual Warfare: 'Prayer + Touch Has Extra Healing Power'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, February 1, 2024

Publius’ father was sick with a fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, prayed, and put his hands on the man and healed him.
— Acts 28:8 NCV

Today's Prayer

Lord, this sin-sick world is full of disease and pain. No one has a perfect body; we all need to experience Your healing power in some form. Thank You for hope and for the power of Your Word. And thank You for reminding me that there is a special power when I combine fervent prayer with a loving touch. Forgive me for minimizing the potential power of prayer plus human touch. Grant me faith to experience Your healing power in myself as well as in others. Heal others through me. Make me a channel of blessing to those who need it most. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
