Thoughts on Today's Verse...

This is the most important question you will ever answer. Do you really believe what Jesus promised in this verse? Do you believe that when you died with Christ in baptism through faith, you died the most significant death you will ever die, and that your physical death will not separate you from Jesus? All of life, even all of eternity for you, hangs on this one question: Do I believe that Jesus is the resurrection and life, and that even when my body dies, I will never die?

My Prayer...

Almighty and Everlasting Father, I believe that because you have adopted me into your family based on my faith in Jesus as the resurrection and the life, death will never claim me and can never have me. Please help me live with fresh vigor and confidence, knowing that the evil one cannot have me and death cannot claim me because I am yours through Jesus, your Son and my Lord, risen from the dead and coming in glory, a glory I will share with him.* In the name of my precious Redeemer, Savior, and Lord, I pray. Amen.
