Thoughts on Today's Verse...

It's better than starting over! As Christians, we get a fresh new start. God not only forgave, pardoned, ransomed, and saved us, but he also made us his new creation! Any time we come to him, every day we rededicate ourselves to serve him, and every new year we offer to him, we get a new start and a whole new world as his new creation. So, as we begin this new year, let's start by offering ourselves to our Father in heaven. Let's ask him to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let's invite him to take leadership of our lives so we can live into this new creation sort of life in every way!

My Prayer...

Almighty and holy God, we want to glorify and praise you in the choices we make, the people we influence, the words we speak, and the actions we take this coming year. We know that we are not guaranteed a single new day, but we want each day you give us, to be a day we live for your glory, honor, and praise. Please use us in your mission to reach the lost and broken in our world with your grace. In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.
