Spiritual Warfare: 'Focus on Good Things and Find the God of Peace'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, December 13, 2026

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me — everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Today's Prayer

Lord, help me to focus on the good and practice good things until they become second nature to me. Help me always to be honest and make good choices. Help me to live in purity and love, building a name for godliness and kindness. I want all this because I want the peace that comes from this sort of lifestyle. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
