Spiritual Warfare: 'God’s People Have Hope and a Great Future'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, December 11, 2025

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let your prophets and fortune-tellers who are with you in the land of Babylon trick you. … I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Today's Prayer

Lord, I trust in You and in Your promise to make a bright future for ALL Your people. I know this promise was originally given to Israel, but I trust this attribute in You to still apply to Christians today, Lord, and I look forward to seeing all You have in store. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
