God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, September 11, 2026
Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted;for when he has passed the test and been approved<, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Lord, temptations and trials surround me. The enemy knows my weaknesses and works to exploit them in every way possible. But I know that You favor and bless all who persevere and overcome, and I want to be one of the overcomers, Lord. Give me the will, strength, and courage to finish my race and win my crown of life. I look forward to hearing Your words of approval on that great day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
"Then Ezra praised the Lord, the great God, and all the people chanted, "Amen! Amen!” as they lifted their hands. Then they bowed down and worshiped..."
"Dear Father, Help me say with confidence: The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? I remember those who led me to Christ....."
