Spiritual Warfare: 'Watch Out for False Messiahs and Prophets'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, July 31, 2025

Then if anyone tells you, "Look, here is the Messiah," or "There he is," don’t believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time!

Today's Prayer

Lord, deliver me from the deception of false messiahs and false prophets of the last days-even if they perform miraculous signs and wonders. Help me to weigh their words and actions against the trust scales of Your Holy Word to see if they are spreading truth or lies. Open my eyes and ears to their true purpose and their true nature, so I don’t lose my way and wander from Your path. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
