Spiritual Warfare: 'Freed from the Power of Sin!'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, May 25, 2025

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess. Sometimes, I have followed the pathway of sin. I realize that this road leads only to death. I do not want this outcome in my life. I rejoice that there is no condemnation for those who are alive in Christ. I desperately desire that life. I want to be free from sin which leads to death. I yearn to be conformed to Jesus. Thank You for the power to be like him given to me through Your Holy Spirit. I know that with the Spirit's presence working in my life, I have the freedom to become what you want me to be. Lead me on to that way of life. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
