Spiritual Warfare: 'Conceit Blinds You to Your Own Faults'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, April 3, 2024

Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are. Everything they say is crooked and deceitful. They refuse to act wisely or do good.
— Psalm 36:1-3 NLT

Today's Prayer

Lord, help me to see myself as You see me. Open my eyes to my own faults so I can reevaluate myself and be willing to change direction when I need to. Make me deaf to the whispers that come from evil sources, but open my ears to the truths from Your Word. Grant me a holy fear of Your power and holiness, and let that healthy fear guide my daily walk. Draw closer to me, Lord, and help me to draw closer to You each day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
