Spiritual Warfare: 'Watch Out — Word Games Are Often Mind Traps'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, March 7, 2025

"Well then," [Jesus] said, "give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God." So they failed to trap him by what he said in front of the people. Instead, they were amazed by his answer, and they became silent.

Today's Prayer

Lord, please help me remember that Satan uses word games to create mind traps and that these will often come from those right around me. Help me obey the laws of my land without disobeying You. Give me ears that perk up when mind traps are active around me and grant me the right responses that honor Your laws and also open the eyes of those around me to their flaws in thinking. Let others be blessed by the godly answers I give under difficult circumstances. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
