Galatians 6:3

"If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important."

How can you explain this away so nonchalantly? A mother's lame explanation for child abuse makes us realize how easy and horrible it is to explain away our own responsibility.

"Dear Father, lifter of our heavy loads, Fill my heart with love for my brothers and sisters in Christ. If someone is overtaken in some misdeed, help...."

Is there ever a time we are not responsible for these things? Even when we are away from our normal responsibilities, we are still responsible for these things!
