When is it wrong to try to portray God as our friend? Displaying our faith is laudable if it is backed up by a life committed to living what we say; otherwise, it's dangerous!

Why do we keep allowing people to ask these things? Rubel is pretty fed up with the dumb questions that people ask after a tragedy and reflects on how maybe if we prayed more and prattled less these things would not be as frequent.

God is faithful to us through all the seasons of our lives. He isn't a fair-weather God. Phil Ware invites us to share in prayer in all the seasons of life and especially know we have an all-season God who longs to hear our prayers, especially prayers for a change in our world's messes.
