If you're like me, you've probably found out that most of the things you worry about never really happen. Yet we tend to jump to the worst-case scenario!

We worry about the bad news at work: "I might lose my job!"

Or we worry about a cloud heading this way may be hail, lightning, or a thunderstorm ... who knows?

Or we worry when the phone starts ringing: "Oh, my goodness, I wonder what terrible thing has happened!"

All kinds of negative thoughts rush through our minds.
All kinds of negative thoughts rush through our minds, almost before we know it's happening.

We have to keep reminding ourselves that when we walk with the Lord, we can meet even the worst things that can happen ... surrounded by his love. The Wise One of Scripture reminds us, "An anxious heart weighs down a man" (Proverbs 12:25 NIV). In Jesus Christ, anxiety is supported by his love. God bless your heart with his loving presence today!
