Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Our mouths can be filled with food, profanities, and gossip. Or we can choose for our mouths to be filled with praise for God and his loving grace. We can talk about many different subjects speaking to many people about various topics. Or we can choose to declare the greatness, majesty, and splendor of our heavenly Father all during our day. Why don't we choose to praise God with our mouths and tell him of his greatness and let others know of his grace as we go about today's activities? Then, at the end of our day, we can honor God one final time before sleeping when we say, "My mouth was filled with your praise as I declared your splendor all day long!"

My Prayer...

Holy and marvelous Father, you are God of all creation, mercy, love, and grace. Thank you for your kindness shared with me in Jesus. Thank you for your decisive victory over death when you raised him from the dead. Thank you for being patient with me as I sometimes stumble, even as I desire to reflect the character of Jesus in my life more completely. Please help me, O Lord, to profess and show my loving admiration for all you do during this day. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
