What Jesus Did! 'One of the Prophets?' — Mark 8:27-28

Wednesday, May 22, 2024

Jesus and his disciples left Galilee and went up to the villages near Caesarea Philippi. As they were walking along, he asked them, "Who do people say I am?"

"Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say you are one of the other prophets."

Key Thought

Jesus is recognized as a significant religious leader and a powerful teacher by many of the world's religions. However, Christians see Jesus as so much more than a prophet, a great teacher, or the founder of a new religion. He is the Christ, the Son of God. He is Lord. He is the Savior of the world. Let's help the world know who Jesus truly is!

Today's Prayer

O God, please bless the efforts of your children who are trying to let the world know who Jesus is. In Jesus' name. Amen
