Thoughts on Today's Verse...

We are to be people who do good deeds! When God gives us the opportunity, let's take it and do good to others! Unlike those captured by the desires of this world - those looking to get ahead, to get even with someone, or to get out of difficult situations - let's look for opportunities to do good! And, the good we do shouldn't be confined to other believers. Let's do good to all people and share God's loving kindness with other believers!

My Prayer...

Only you are truly good and perfect in all your ways, dear Father. However, I pray that your goodness may be seen in your Church and also in me as we serve you today, this week, and until the time the Savior returns for us in glory. Please help us be aware of and look for the opportunities you give us to do good to and for others. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen.
