Today's Verse: Psalm 1:1-2

Although the world around us screams all sorts of messages to us, we get to choose which sources of information we feed our minds. This privilege and freedom also come with the responsibility to choose what we hear and obey. As followers of Jesus, choosing to listen to God's truth is not just a choice, but a holy commitment. God longs to bless us with his will, revealed in the Scriptures, and with his moral guidance and definitions of what is holy and acceptable in his law. However, that blessing remains dormant until our hearts delight in knowing and doing his will. Let's find our delight in knowing and doing God's will, like the Son and our Savior, Jesus did throughout his life on earth!
