Spiritual Warfare: 'Pray to Recognize Your Faults'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, October 25, 2026

Why do you notice the little piece of dust in your friend’s eye, but you don’t notice the big piece of wood in your own eye? How can you say to your friend, ‘Friend, let me take that little piece of dust out of your eye’ when you cannot see that big piece of wood in your own eye! You hypocrite! First, take the wood out of your own eye. Then you will see clearly to take the dust out of your friend’s eye.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I admit that while I THINK I can see all the big weaknesses in OTHERS, I am often completely blind to my own faults. Help me to see myself in light of Your truth - help me see myself as YOU see me. And, Lord, please help me to have the willingness and the ability to make the changes I really need to make. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
