[To whom can you compare God?] Who is able to advise the Spirit of the Lord? Who knows enough to give him advice or teach him? Has the Lord ever needed anyone's advice? Does he need instruction about what is good? Did someone teach him what is right or show him the path of justice?
"[Because some widows were being neglected in the food distribution,] the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, "We apostles should...."
"And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in..."
"Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman [who talked with Jesus at Jacob's well] had said, "He told me everything I ever....."
"God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus...."
