Laurie Jones once said that a franchising consultant told her, "A good idea
is worth one dollar. The plan for implementing that idea is worth a
million dollars." God has a great plan for each of His children. He
declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,'
declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a
future and a hope'".
God just didn't have an idea, He had a plan to accomplish that idea. As a
minister, I realized a new truth recently. It was that "God loves me and
everyone else has a wonderful plan for MY life." But for me, I need to
follow God's plan for my life because He will provide me with a future and
a hope.
Aren't you glad that God's idea of a future home in Heaven and the hope of
eternal life was not just that, an idea? But rather, He had a plan to
provide that for each of us. It was a plan carried out by His Son-- Jesus.
