    I heard the other day that some researcher found out that hotel mattresses are better on the side away from the phone. OK... I would never have thought about that but I guess it makes sense.

    It’s interesting how some of us are able to examine and see things the rest of us never notice. I think a lot of us spend too much time seeing the obvious, the way things are—seeing the wrinkles and baldspots and receding hairlines, seeing the extra pounds someone has gained, seeing the shortcomings.

    Jesus has eyes that see the unseen in people, thank God. The heart, the spirit, the passion. He sees your potential, the hidden good in every one of us, because he sees through eyes and glasses of love.

    I pray that God will give me and you the kind of glasses Jesus had.
