1 Corinthians 11:24-26

Dear Father, giver of bread and wine,

Cause us to remember that in the same way he blessed the bread, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."

Help us, giver of the heavenly bread and the heavenly wine, to eat and drink, as often as we do it, in proclamation of the Lord's death until he comes.

In the name of Jesus, who is the daily bread and wine of our lives, I ask. Amen.
