Here are a few humorous examples of computer illiteracy:
A Compaq technician received a call from a man complaining that the system wouldnt read word processing files from his old diskettes. After trouble-shooting for magnets and heat failure to diagnose the problem, it was found that the customer labeled the diskettes then rolled them into the typewriter to type the labels.
A Dell customer called to say he couldnt get his computer to fax anything. After 40 minutes of trouble-shooting, the technician discovered the man was trying to fax a piece of paper by holding it in front of the monitor screen and hitting the send key.
Another customer called in to complain that he gets an Access Denied message every time he logs in. It turned out he was typing his user name and password in capital letters. Tech Support: OK, lets try once more, but use lower case letters. Customer: Uh, I only have capital letters on my keyboard.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:3-8)
