With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.(NCV)
Eph. 3:20-21
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or believe because of the miracles I have done. I tell you the truth, whoever believes in me will do the same things that I do. Those who believe will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.(NCV)
John 14:11-14
Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will be able to do what I did to this tree and even more. You will be able to say to this mountain, 'Go, fall into the sea.' And if you have faith, it will happen. If you believe, you will get anything you ask for in prayer."(NCV)

Blessed Beyond Resources - Matthew Matthew 14:15-21
As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food." Jesus replied, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.""We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered."Bring them here to me," he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

Key Thought
Don't you just love it that the disciples who didn't think they could do anything to feed the whole crowd each got to pick up a basket full of pieces that were left over!Jesus has a way of using, teaching, and rebuking us all at the same time when we don't have faith that what needs to be done, can be done with his blessing.
What doors of opportunity is the Lord opening for you to minister through right now?Are you afraid you don't have the resources?Remember, Jesus' power is great when the glory goes to God, ministry is for others, we pool our resources, we offer what we have to him, and we are motivated out of compassion!
Today's Prayer
Loving and gracious Father, give me courage and faith to believe you can bless my meager resources when I bring them to you.Forgive me for being so timid when you long to use me to minister for your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.Amen.
Today's Verses with Jesus
(key verses in bold)
13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns.14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
