Heartlight Internet Magazine is a daily updated e-zine for followers of Jesus. Heartlight has been encouraging thousands everyday since it was launched April 3, 1996. The Heartlight.org mission is to provide positive resources to help believers live for Jesus in today's world. We take each of the phrases of our mission statement very seriously.

Provide Positive Resources

We try to make all of our resources availalble without charge. These resources include daily articles, devotionals, inspirational images, electronic greeting cards, Bible study resources, Bible search tools, Bible reading plans, PowerPoint graphics for projection, computer wall paper graphics, Scripture graphics, Blogs, and many more. Many of our resources are available through daily email delivery as well being available on the web. We keep the tone of our articles and devotionals positive and upbeat, but true to Scripture.

To Help Believers Live for Christ

Even though people have come to Christ as a result of Hearltight.org, our primary focus is get resources to folks to help them live for Jesus. While all of our materials seek to reflect the character and compassion of Jesus, our four year devotional series called What Jesus Did! is a daily walk with Jesus through each of the four Gospels that tell the story of Jesus' life. Other daily resources, like Today's Verse (also available on verseoftheday.com) provide a great resource to help followers of Jesus begin the day focused on living for their Lord.

In Today's World

More than just offering resources in English on the World Wide Web, Heartlight has sites in English, two in Portuguese (Iluminalma and Hermeneutica), and Spanish. Currently we also offer Today's Verse in Russian and are anticipating the release of a multi-lingual site of verseoftheday.com with the daily Today's Verse devotional available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese, and Korean in the very near future. Currently, Heartlight.org delivers emails and has visitors to the site from over 180 countries in the world — those in predominantly Muslim or communist countries are not counted in this listing and we have visitors from these places..
