Wouldn't it be great to experience the fire and excitement in our day like they did in the days of the early Church! The book of Acts tells of God's power and might displayed in churches of faith, evangelism, prayer, fellowship, and courage. Let's have that happen to us in our time. Let's rekindle the fires of Acts.

      God is worthy of our heartfelt love and praise, he is worthy of our adoration! We want him to hear from our lips and our hearts how much we love and appreciate him for who he is and what he has done!

      Confession is being honest with God about our sin, holding nothing back from him. We recognize sin for what it is and what it does. We confess our sin to get rid of our secrets and get on with living God's will in our life.

Our most natural response to God is to give thanks for the incredible blessings and wonderful grace he has lavished upon us. He has done so much for us, how can we not thank him with our hearts, our lives, and our words?

    God is our source of strength. He empowers us to face life's challenges, equips us to do ministry, enables us to seize special opportunities and to serve him with courage and boldness. We turn to him to help us and those we love.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
He is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The LORD helps them and delivers them;
He delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in Him.

Psalm 37:39-40
