Talofa to you all...Jesus is a winner Man...I would like to say that the Lord Almighty has been a big part of my life. He was always there when I needed help. I don't mean little help...There was this one nite I was on the edge of giving up and all. I threaten God to help me out. I was so stuffed up that I didn't care anymore. I told him that if wasn't to help me out, that I would turn to Satain. I was 17 yrs. I was going to give up on my life and also the life that was in me. I cried and battled within myself. I finally said to him. If it's your will for me to have this child, you will open the doors for me...dealing with my parents and all. the Father of my child didn't want anything to do with it either. I than said to God, with hope...If it is not your will for me to have this baby. you'll give me a miscarrage. After that request. I fell asleep peacefully. Till this day I have never forgotten that nite...I'm a solo mum and God has Blessed me with a wounderful daughter. Everything that I went through, God was there to take care of my baby and myself. When my parents found out about me being pregnant...it all worked out. Took a bit of forgiving and coping with the past. From that day I cried to our Heavenly Father he was the only one I trusted. "GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD" Isn't it a wonderful feeling to know that the God we serve and have placed our trust in is the one true God who loves us all with an undying love. And to know that our future is well secure in his hands. I see myself as a pre-mature christian. Someone who was raised in the family of God and was forced to praise, pray and read God's word everyday. So when I was old enough to say 'no more', I left and never turned back. I was around 15yrs old at that time. Now, I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls and has been so blessed with the freedom to come to the Lord on my own. I still struggle in alot of areas, but my trust is in our father and he I believe with all my heart will never fail me and my family. Dear Brent, I believe that God allows (you used the right word) evil in this world because He gave us a free will and the freedom to make choices. If evil occurs, and it does minute-by-minute, from the small setting of an abusive home to the worldwide scale of the holocaust and terrorism and hate crimes, it is not something that God "sent", but something that grieves His heart indescribably. You sound like you hurt and are questioning. I have, too. I went through a time where I threatened to throw my Bible away, I was so hurt to see children abused that I professionally worked with in the mental health field. But God walked me back, one step at a time. God allows humanity to make choices. The Bible says that one day all our tears will be wiped away. I'm counting on that. Brent, I encourage you friend, to see evil in this world as being the terrible choices of human beings and grievous to Christ's heart. Not something that God, in a blase manner, "sends" on us. Think what the world would be of "evil" persons had Christ in their life.

But my friend, I'd respectfully like to offer to you that having a real relationship with Jesus Christ is not really "religion". It's a "relationship". I can only tell you from my heart that Christ has blessed my life. He gives me peace, a hope for the future, He gives me the strength to weather storms in my life, He assures me that He will never leave me. Everytime I have a failure or make a mistake, He still loves me unconditionally; picks me up, brushes me off, and says, "Come; let's talk this over. I can wash you white as snow." CAT, I rely on those promises. And I tell you honestly, friend, that He has been faithful to every one. I am so very sorry that there are alot of (perhaps well-meaning but no less human than the rest of us) "Christians" out there that have made mistakes and put a stumbling block in the way of the faith of others who are seeking Christ - maybe more than they realize. If you don't believe anything else, friend, please believe this: Jesus Christ loves you more than you could ever love yourself; just like He does me. I am not perfect. I am a "cracked pot"; lots of little cracks there. But one thing I am is forgiven and blessed. Light can still shine through the cracks. CAT, I want to encourage you to look only at the character of Christ.

I really believe that the bible is mis-interpreted. I think that christianity had its place in history as a form of government - but today is becoming obsolete. I had an abortion at age 19. I hid this secret for 21 years, and finally accepted Christ's forgiveness of me and began to forgive myself. It is only God's place to give, or take life away, I've learned. Christ has assured me, repeatedly, that He can use anything (even the devastation of an abortion), as a ministry. He did not intend for me to keep this to myself, but to share it with others who are hurting. He freely forgave me. The hardest part for me was to learn how to forgive myself. That took years. My encouragement to you is that, if you are suffering from the hurt of a past abortion, you don't have to hurt any longer. Christ can forgive anything - and will. Believe me. I have a wonderful, delightful 17 year-old daughter who is the light of my life. She has the phrase "Unmerited Grace" figuratively stamped on her forehead. I wanted to share an old praise report, and felt led to mention anyone who is faithful in the little things, God will give you greater things to be blessed with. Over a year ago, I owed my step-dad about $2,000 for a school loan, and was faithful to the Lord in what I was to do, not long after that, my step-dad wrote me a letter saying that the amount I owe is 0. I moved to Salina back in Dec. In which I left all my friends/family in Christ in Kearney,Nebraska. I have found it very challenging and lonely at times. It has been like being with new fellow believers,as I spend time at "Heartlight".This is my first time to search further on this sight. Mainly,I have stuck with the Awesome cards-mailing them to friends in Kearney. The Lord continues to show His faithfulness, even when I have started to doubt alot of things. He is doing new things in my life. It is my desire to go into full-time ministry. And since my moved this has been a huge void.Now steps are being processed in getting a Singles ministry started up at the church I attend. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Yes..even when we can't see it!

I have been reading this site and I was very impressed to see that you can answer and listen to problems for prayer. I have a best friend of 22 years. We have been through alot together, both being married previously to Muslims. Very tramatic and abusive marriages...and whic both ended in divorce. Well she has met a man from Egypt over the internet. They have talked for a few months now and he came to visit for 1 week, she just took off to New York with him scaring her family and friends to death. his is not like her at all. She has become a devowed Christian and of course he is Muslim. We are all praying for her to see the light as it does not work with a Christain and a Muslim uniting in marriage. He does not practice his religion but the change in her has not been for the best. She plans to leave her only daughter over here and move to Egypt without even going to visit first. She actually says she is egaged to him. Please everyone who reads this, pray that Jesus shows her that this is a temptation and not to be taken seriously. Jesus is the Truth The Way and The Life!! Without him no-one will see the face of God. This Muslim does not believe in Jesus Christ!! He cannot change his religion in Egypt! So we wonder if he only wnts her for a green card to the US. Please e-mail me if you have any kind of comments that will help.. Her family and friends are very concerned about her. Especially since she has about rejected all of us from her life. Your site is amazingly annointed. I receive the newsletter via email and it never fails, when I pull it down, God just ministers to my heart and my situation: case in point. the other day, I was asked me to be someones prayer partner. Maybe for someone else it would be no big deal, but I pray about everything, knowing when you enter into a prayer agreement,you are committing to carry someone spiritually, that's a serious thing. So during the day I was thinking about it, and praying about it and BAM. I pulled down heartlight from my email and it spoke exactly about "letting someone lean on you".(pretty cool, b-cause it used the first few verses from the popular song. God know I always like it :) N-E-Way, I was like, God thank you for your confirmation. Needless to say, he always uses this site to bless me and make me a blessing to someone else. I just have to tell you!! IMy granddaughted was born with a cleft pallet, harelip, 13 years ago.Her mother went to Toronto to a rally and took Valerie along. When paople were asked if they wanted prayer requests, Valerie asked that her mouth be healed. it didn't hurt but she felt self concious.Her teeth also were not straight, she had to wear braces, which helped some, but she still didn't feel like smiling. When she asked for prayers, she felt something different in her mouth, so went to the ladies room and looked in the mirror. Praise God!!! all her teeth were straight! She had a scheduled appointment with the orthodontist today, to get fitted for more braces. What a surprise he is in for when he sees her straight teeth!! We have an Awesome God!!
