Dr. Paul FaulknerThe Effects of Broken Families, by Dr. Paul Faulkner   Real Audio

A TV program not long ago featured a young woman, named Melody, who was leafing through old medical school yearbooks trying to find her resemblance in the faces of the male students. She was trying to find her biological father, because her mother conceived her through artificial insemination.

She went on to say, “I find it maddening that intelligent people fool themselves into thinking that my biological background would be inconsequential to me.” Crazy, isn’t it, the way we don’t think about the long-term effects of what we do.

Our Creator has some good advice about how to think with long-term consequences in mind. He said wisdom from above is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
