Dr. Paul FaulknerPatience, by Dr. Paul Faulkner

How many times have you caught yourself already today being impatient with other people, or with the circumstances on the road? I have a good friend, Mike, who seems to have conquered the problem of patience.

You see, he is completely paralyzed except for his left foot. Yet he has patiently learned how to deal with life, overcoming challenges, even to paint beautiful oil paintings...with his left foot! Maybe that’s why he’s written a book entitled “Patience—My Left Foot!”

It also takes patience to grow a marriage, patience to discover the ever-changing needs of others, patience to stay at the task of staying in a good humor. But isn’t that what marriage, and life in general, is all about?

So let’s make the rest of the day work a little better for you. Be a person—like Mike—with a patient attitude, with a patient spirit.
