Jesus said to them, "Go tell that fox (Herod), 'Today and tomorrow I am forcing demons out of people and finishing my work of healing. Then, the next day, the work will be finished.'     Key Thought

    God's will and Jesus' sense of mission will determine the timing, the place, and the extent of the Messiah's ministry. Herod's threats will not frighten or derail the Lord Jesus from his purpose. Like every great prophet, Jesus' destiny will be accomplished in Jerusalem. He will not be manipulated or controlled by political pressure, unfair opposition, or religious propriety. Jesus will walk his own way to accomplish God's will and fulfill his prophesied ministry.
