Don't Be Deceived

One little seven year old said, "I learned that you can't laugh and drink soda pop at the same time, 'cause it'll come out your nose!" And that's the way life is; some things you can get by with, but most times you're going to pay — it'll come out of your nose!

The Good Book says, "Evil companionships corrupt good morals" (1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV). They don't go together. Good people who try to run with bad people will be influenced to do bad things.

The wise man says, "A woman who is beautiful but lacks discretion is like a gold ring in a pig's snout" (Proverbs 11:22 NLT). Common sense says these things just don't go together.

Again, the wise one says, "The wise look ahead to see what is coming, but fools deceive themselves" (Proverbs 14:8 NLT). You see? God doesn't want you to be deceived.
