God chose you, and we keep praying that God will make you worthy of being his people. We pray for God's power to help you do all the good things that you hope to do and that your faith makes you want to do (2 Thessalonians 1:11 CEV).

God doesn't want you in the judging business! Not even to judge yourself! He's the specialist in judging, and just think, God has judged us worthy. Worthy to carry the gospel to the whole world. Even though we aren't perfect. Even the angels were not given this exalted task. He calls us His children, His heirs, even co-heirs with Christ.

Even the apostles lacked faith at some times; they fled in the face of trouble, betrayed Him, denied Him, and swore they didn't know him! But Jesus still pronounced them capable.

He never wants us crushed!
While Christ desires humility, he never wants us crushed. He never wants us driven to despair! Godly sorrow is to lead us to change our lives, not destroy or denigrate them. Christ intends to preserve our personal worth and dignity and re-create us in His image for His great work in the world.

Let's make the rest of today work a little better by remembering that God sees in us something we cannot see. And if you let Him, His love is going to bring it out in you!
