Most people value religion because we think life beyond this Earth is vital and important. But Christian faith also brings meaning and purpose here on this Earth as well.

Christianity isn’t just for the life beyond...

    It gives a framework for priorities and puts stress in its proper place. It gives us comfort in illness and crisis. It supports a healthy lifestyle and the avoidance of things that hurt our bodies. Churchgoers have nearly one-half the risk of heart attack. And it helps us develop supportive, loving relationships. It gives us reasons for serving and ministering to others, and makes us a part of something that's bigger and larger than ourselves.

    In other words, Christianity isn’t just for the life beyond, it blesses this life, too.
