Moments of Glory
by Dr. Paul Faulkner
Dietrich Bonhoeffer urged us to be careful in our assumptions about the Christian life. He was a great Christian writer, and a stalwart for God who was later executed by the Nazis in World War II. He understood firsthand that God is not just a God of happy emotions, but also a God who faces us with heavy trials and even unhappiness at times.
I believe even in those worst moments we may more clearly see Gods glory than any other time. We can learn then more than ever to be thankful for whatever God brings into our lives.
